Q: I am a freshman attending a community college in the US, currently working toward the degree "Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering." I have recently acquired a taste for business as well, and am wondering if it is plausible to study both business and electrical engineering. Are there any career paths that integrate the two, and if so, would it be better to study them at the same time or one before the other?

Q: I write from New South Wales, Australia. My marks in the High School Certificate (HSC) are a bit low, and I am concerned about admissions to university studies in electrical engineering. Do you have any pertinent advice? If a student gets low percentage on the HSC, does that mean that the student is not suitable for engineering? Do HSC marks affect the future course of the student?
